Welcome Little Lizzy! We love you! I can't believe how fast time flies. Now with her older sibs, Ally and Joey, time seems to move even faster.
She's already more than a month old and I barely posted anything onto my flickr account... although there are some pics on facebook. I need to take more pictures so that she doesn't feel like the third kid... I don't want to be that guy that says... "well you look like your sister, so we didn't think that we needed to take pictures..."I present the one month clown cone...
Although she is the heaviest coming out of the box, she is the lightest at one month--she's still in the 90% for length and weight so I guess it's a relative term. She eats and sleeps better than her older siblings. Being the biggest of the bunch, she can hold her head up pretty well.
Lizzy seems to be cooing.Lizzy made it to the world just in time to watch the Lakers win another championship with her Daddy. (I'm not sure if either of us cared...) She made it just in time to see her sister participate in her school Olympics and spelling bee. She even made it for her brother's pre-school "graduation.
Daddy doesn't seem to remember anything about taking care of babies. Mommy is quickly learning what it's like to nurse a newborn every 3-6 hours and pumping during the longer stretches. For everyone it is balancing the needs of others... realizing that Mommy is recovering and that her brother and sister still have basketball and ballet. The one thing I ask of the Lord is that little Lizzy would accept Christ as her siblings have.
One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD
And to meditate in His temple.
Psalm 27:4
