Welcome Little Lizzy! We love you! I can't believe how fast time flies. Now with her older sibs, Ally and Joey, time seems to move even faster.

She's already more than a month old and I barely posted anything onto my flickr account... although there are some pics on facebook. I need to take more pictures so that she doesn't feel like the third kid... I don't want to be that guy that says... "well you look like your sister, so we didn't think that we needed to take pictures..."

I present the one month clown cone...

Already time for first clown cone

Although she is the heaviest coming out of the box, she is the lightest at one month--she's still in the 90% for length and weight so I guess it's a relative term. She eats and sleeps better than her older siblings. Being the biggest of the bunch, she can hold her head up pretty well.

Lizzy seems to be cooing.

Lizzy made it to the world just in time to watch the Lakers win another championship with her Daddy. (I'm not sure if either of us cared...) She made it just in time to see her sister participate in her school Olympics and spelling bee. She even made it for her brother's pre-school "graduation.

Daddy doesn't seem to remember anything about taking care of babies. Mommy is quickly learning what it's like to nurse a newborn every 3-6 hours and pumping during the longer stretches. For everyone it is balancing the needs of others... realizing that Mommy is recovering and that her brother and sister still have basketball and ballet.

The one thing I ask of the Lord is that little Lizzy would accept Christ as her siblings have.

One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,

To behold the beauty of the LORD

And to meditate in His temple.

Psalm 27:4

"I want to ask Jesus into my heart"

My Joseph accepted Christ tonight.

Tonight seemed like any other night. Joseph went through his normal going to night time routine. Right before he goes to bed, he always asks for his devotional. He is very consistent about his devotionals. This time, when I ask him if he wants to pray, he tells me, "I want to ask Jesus into my heart".

My wife asks to make sure he knows what he's doing. Afterwards, they pray and he accepts Christ as his Lord and Savior. I can barely hold back my own tears knowing that my wife and kids will someday be together in heaven.

In my own life, I have to praise God for his faithfulness to my family.

2008 Business Trip 2: Korea

This time I was off to Korea via NRT. This is the United lounge at NRT which is a pretty decent lounge. They offer free beer there so the time passes quickly.

The hotel was also pretty nice. They had fresh gerbera daisies in the room.

I wish there was more time in Korea, because usually, I'm just in and out and there's not that much time to go look around. These business trips are just business and there's not that much fun involved.

gerbera

Our hotel, the Grand Intercontinental Seoul is attached to an underground mall which made it convenient. There's lots of stuff to buy, but nothing that you can't find here in the US.

COEX

I don't know why I would buy coffee from seven monkeys.

Chinese food in Miramar?

This time we made the trek out to San Diego to have dinner with my cousins and my Uncle. Man it's far! This is actually at Ming's at the Holiday Inn in Miramar. I didn't have any expectations for this "Chinese" restaurant in a Holiday Inn, but the food was fairly good.

group shot!

Afterwards, we went to Yogurt World which is similar to Pinkberry or Red Mango, but they sell their dessert purely by weight. It was pretty good and they had a line out the door the whole time we were there.

woo hoo! we have a table

Here is Allison with Uncle Victor. She's wondering when he's going to "seal the deal" with his girlfriend Rose pictured above.

Vivian even came down to visit from Reno.

Mommy thought it was fun to hold Joseph while he was sleeping. Allison is pretending to sleep.

2008 Business Trip 1: Detroit

It wasn't too cold in Detroit. The weather caught me off guard when I woke up and I realized I had to dust off the snow off of my car.

this can get old

I caught a Piston's game while I was there. It wasn't as fun as the Tiger's no hitter game from last summer, but I had a good time being at a game.

Rasheed Wallace on fire!

Here is Rasheed getting psyched up before facing the Raptors.

We went to the GM Renaissance Center and saw some old GM cars.
